Held every two years in October in Düsseldorf since 1970, Glasstec is the undisputed world-leading trade fair for the glass industry and technologies. Organized by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and conceptually sponsored by VDMA Forum Glastechnik, the fair opens its doors at Messe Düsseldorf between 20-23 October 2026. Bringing together 1,257 exhibiting companies from 50 countries and over 32,000 industry professionals from more than 120 countries in its 2024 edition, Glasstec presents the entire value chain of glass under one roof, from glass production and processing machinery to glass products and applications, from architectural and construction glass to automotive and solar glass, from smart glass technologies to glass art and craft. For the 2026 edition, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies, Decarbonization, and Circular Economy have been identified as key themes. The fair's most prestigious side event, the glass technology live innovation show, along with CircuClarity Two, Glass Trends Sessions, and Architecture Forum events, transform the fair into the industry's global knowledge and business platform.
