Milipol Qatar is the Middle East leg of the well-established Milipol series that began in Paris in 1984. This international fair, held biennially at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) through the joint organization of Comexposium and the Qatar Ministry of Interior, covers border security and surveillance systems, cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection, physical security solutions, firefighting and emergency response equipment, public order technologies, and forensic science equipment sectors. The 2024 edition was attended by more than 200 exhibiting firms from over 40 countries. Given the Gulf region's increasing security investments and the ongoing infrastructure modernization programs in Qatar, bringing Turkish defense and security firms to this fair carries strategic priority for Delta Expo Travel Agency.
Turkey's defense industry has in recent years made sales to the Gulf countries in areas such as unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles, surveillance systems and armored vehicles. Milipol Qatar offers an ideal platform to deepen these connections. The fair also enables competitive Turkish firms in cybersecurity, border surveillance and biometric identity verification to make direct contact with regional buyers.

Qatar continues to develop the security infrastructure it built after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The country allocates significant budgets for border surveillance, cybersecurity and emergency response systems. The strong diplomatic relations between Turkey and Qatar and the Turkish military base in Qatar facilitate the positioning of defense industry firms in this market. Milipol Qatar is a critical meeting point both for reinforcing existing partnerships and for identifying new procurement targets.
