Area30 is an international cold chain technologies, food retail equipment and modern supermarket concepts fair held every two years in the German city of Lohne. Taking its name from the A30 federal highway, the fair is located in one of Europe's busiest cold logistics corridors. It brings together the suppliers of German retail chains such as Edeka, Rewe and Lidl, refrigeration equipment manufacturers and food retail technology companies. Thanks to its 2-year format adapting to the real product innovation cycle, the fair is the sector's innovation barometer.
