Since 1949, the IMM Cologne held every January in Cologne is one of the world’s most established and prestigious fairs for furniture and interior design. Organized by Koelnmesse GmbH, the fair opens its doors at Koelnmesse from January 19-22, 2027. With the 2026 edition, IMM Cologne has repositioned itself as the most efficient trade platform for the international furniture industry by transitioning to a pure B2B format focused on consumer‑centric interior design. The 2025 edition brought together 750 participating companies from 42 countries and 42,000 sector professionals from 129 countries within an area of 137,000 m². IMM Cologne presents the entire spectrum of the interior sector under one roof, from bedroom and living‑room furniture to dining and office furniture, from upholstered furniture and bed systems to young‑living and compact‑living solutions, from decorative lighting to rugs and floor coverings, from home textiles to accessories and décor products, and from sustainable furniture design to ready‑to‑sell e‑commerce product ranges. Sustainability, digitalisation, and e‑commerce are the key themes highlighted in the 2027 edition.
