ITMA, owned by CEMATEX and organized by ITMA Services, is a textile and garment technology fair held every four years; the 2027 edition takes place for seven days from 16 to 22 September 2027 at the Hannover exhibition grounds (Messegelände Hannover). According to the organizer, the fair has been bringing together technology pioneers and industry leaders since 1951; the 2027 edition will be set up in 12 halls covering a gross area of more than 180,000 square metres, spanning 20 product sectors from yarn to finishing, software and automation to recycling, and fibre, yarn and fabric, with the theme “Co‑creating the Future of Textiles.” According to the organizer’s statement, participation from more than 1,500 companies has already been secured from 43 countries; in the 2023 Milan edition, more than 1,700 participants from 47 countries were present in a gross area of 200,000 square metres, and the fair was visited by 111,000 visitors from 143 countries.
