Held every four years in Essen, Schweissen & Schneiden is the undisputed world-leading trade fair for joining, cutting, and surfacing technologies. Known in the industry as the "Olympics of Welding Technologies," this event will open its doors at Messe Essen with the theme "Showtime for Innovation" between 17-21 September 2029. Bringing together over 800 exhibiting companies from 44 countries and more than 37,000 professional visitors from 100 countries in its 2025 edition, Schweissen & Schneiden; presents the entire value chain of the industry under one roof, from welding equipment and consumables to cutting systems, automation and robot technologies, and surface coating solutions. In the 2025 edition, 60% of exhibitors re-booked their stands for 2029 — a clear indication of the fair's undisputed importance in the industry.
