Urban Steel Expo 2027 will take place on 20-23 April 2027 in Hall 6 of the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition grounds in Düsseldorf. The new fair format for the welding and cutting industry holds its first edition in Düsseldorf and will be held every four years. The fair is organized by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH; the industry gathering Urban Steel Rockstars (USR) is also held as part of the fair together with MingleMakers. The focus topics of the 2027 edition are digitalization and Industry 4.0, automation and robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, additive manufacturing and new materials, sustainability and energy efficiency, and high-performance laser cutting. The hall features application areas where companies demonstrate their machines and systems live, interactive workshop areas, an innovation platform for start-ups and research projects, expert forums and workshops. The visitor profile includes senior executives, engineers and technicians, purchasing managers, R&D staff, trainers and young professionals new to the industry.
