Since 1952, the K held every three years in October in Düsseldorf is the undisputed world‑leading fair for the plastics and rubber industry. Organized by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, the fair will open its doors for eight days at Messe Düsseldorf from 18‑25 October 2028 for its 22nd edition, covering 177,333 m² of exhibition space. The 2025 edition brought together 3,259 exhibiting companies from 66 countries and 168,660 industry professionals from 157 countries; K presents the entire value chain of plastics and rubber under one roof—from raw materials and auxiliaries to semi‑finished products, technical plastic parts to machinery and processing equipment, mold and tool systems to measurement and testing technologies, recycling systems to digital manufacturing solutions. Circular economy and recycling, artificial intelligence and automation, sustainability and resource efficiency will be the prominent themes of the 2028 edition as well.
