Held every two years in Stuttgart since 1994, Blechexpo is the undisputed world-leading trade fair for sheet metal working and joining technologies. Organized by P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG, the fair opens its doors for 4 days with its 18th edition at Messe Stuttgart between October 26-29, 2027. The fair is held concurrently with Schweisstec 2027 (11th edition), which focuses on joining technologies, making this duo the world's only trade fair covering both sheet metal working and joining technologies. Bringing together 1,190 exhibiting companies from 41 countries and over 40,000 industry professionals across 120,000 m² in its 2025 edition, Blechexpo presents the entire value chain of the industry under one roof: from cold forming and sheet metal processing to thermal and mechanical cutting technologies, from laser cutting and waterjet systems to CNC bending and metal forming machines, from welding, bonding, and mechanical joining methods to tube and profile processing systems, from surface treatment and coating technologies to automation and robotic solutions. Smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence, automation, and sustainable production are among the prominent main themes of the 2027 edition.
